Parent Advisors attend monthly meetings with class officers. They support class activities by arranging for parents to assist with snack shack, Junior Prom, Senior Ball, and Grad Night. The advisors coordinate parent fundraising which is used for the Grad Night celebration. They also advise the class officers on student fundraising efforts (e.g., t-shirt sales, car-washes, sale of lei's for graduation, etc.) as well as class community service opportunities and socials. The student fundraiser proceeds are used to support class activities and to defray the expenses of Junior Prom, Senior Ball, and other graduation activities. Most classes attempt to earn about $60,000 over their four years at Miramonte.
