Dear Miramonte Community,

We want to congratulate everyone on a smooth opening week of school.  Residency verification, online registration, and Mat's Day all went very well.  Thank you to everyone for following our procedures and enabling us to gather all of the necessary information. As a result, schedules were distributed to all students and it appears that almost all are pleased with their course selections.

The administration has visited all English classes to review key areas for success within the Student Agenda. We encourage students to examine and use the agenda throughout the year. Many school policies as well as valuable information are included.

Please follow Miramonte updates and gather important information on Twitter.

PC Co-Presidents' Message

Everyone has settled so smoothly into school this week thanks to the hard work of Coral Cobley, Debby Rechnitz and their band of parent helpers who were working last week's Mats Day and mini mats registration on the first day of school! Thanks also to all the Miramonte staff and teachers who helped all the students and parents navigate their way through Miramonte these first few days! To show our appreciation, Victoria Bizieff and Kacy Richardson recruited a group of freshman parents to put on a delicious luncheon for our hard working teachers and staff. Thank You!

We had over 800 families join Parents Club before school even began! We only need 300 more to have 100% participation!  Please visit the webstore for information regarding the giving levels. Thank you so much for contributing to the Parents' Club Making Tomorrow Possible Membership Drive. As you know, all money will be used this year on your students!

Now that your child is well taken care of at school, don't forget to take a minute for yourselves, or at least a deep breath!

Laurie Smith and Mary Maxson
MHSPC Co-Presidents '10-'11
