Are you and your family prepared for a community wide disaster?

Do you know how to safely search a building for victims of an earthquake?

Do you know how to provide lifesaving medical care?

Many homeowners are not aware of hazards around the home that can cause fire or add to possible damage during an earthquake. Learn to spot home safety hazards and protect you, your family and neighbors by attending a CERT class.

There are class series available from Certified Instructors of Lamorinda's Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). These instructors have been through an intense three day FEMA based instructor's course and are ready to help you become better prepared for a disaster.

Learn, in detail, disaster preparedness, how to work with your neighbors as a team and help your community during an emergency. The seven evening course covers many subjects:

    • disaster preparedness
    • fire safety
